Curtea Veche Publishing îşi exprimă regretul profund pentru stingerea din viaţă a lui Vaclav Havel. Fostul preşedinte al Cehoslovaciei şi a Republicii Cehe va rămâne unul dintre cei mai importanţi reprezentanţi ai luptei împotriva comunismului şi întreaga sa viaţă va fi mereu o sursă de inspiraţie pentru aceia care preţuiesc libertatea, integritatea şi curajul.
În acest trist moment, am dori să transmitem sincere condoleanţe poporului ceh şi familiei îndurerate. Fără îndoială, Republica Cehă a pierdut o figură emblematică, un lider legendar şi un scriitor valoros.
Pentru Curtea Veche Publishing, a fost o adevărată onoare că a putut publica gândurile şi o parte din opera literară a unui om de excepţie şi chiar dacă Vaclav Havel nu va mai fi printre noi, sperăm că rândurile pe care le-a scris de-a lungul anilor vor reuşi să îi păstreze spiritul.

It is with profound sadness that Curtea Veche Publishing received the news of Vaclav Havel’s death. The former president of Czech Republic will remain one of the most important representatives of the fight against communism and his entire life and actions will always be inspiring for those who treasure freedom, integrity and courage.
On this very sad moment, we would like to express our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences that head to the Czech people and to the grieving family. Czech Republic has lost, without any doubt, an exceptional man – a legendary leader and a valuable writer.
For Curtea Veche Publishing, it was a true honor to publish the thoughts and literary work of such a great man and even though Vaclav Havel will no longer be among us, we hope that the books he wrote will continue to preserve his spirit.
